Three Teens Caught with Pot at Twin Falls Middle School

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Three girls were caught smoking marijuana in a bathroom at O’Leary middle School Tuesday.

One girl was taken into custody and is being charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance, paraphernalia and possession. The other two are charged with being under the influence and possession of a controlled substance. The school resource officers work hard to educate students on the dangers of drugs and prevent similar instances.

"We do a lot of educational stuff, just recently I did a meth prevention class or a presentation to a class and all of our SRO's are required to do presentations,” said School Resource Officer Preston Stephenson. All three teens are being charged with misdemeanors and may spend time in the juvenile detention center.
