Over the weekend, Tiger Woods won the Memorial for the fifth time in his career.  Is he on the path the break Jack Nicklaus’ record for 18 major titles? It would seem that Tiger Woods is back to his old self. He’s done it before and fallen back off, but is this time different? Tiger has won 14 majors and he’s only 36 years old. He’s only four shy of Nicklaus’ record. The Memorial was his 73rd PGA tour win, which ties him with Nicklaus for second place on the all-time win list.

Tiger is 10 years younger than when Jack Nicklaus won his 18th major, so realistically he has a good amount of time to win four more majors. Could he do it in as soon as 11 days?  That’s when the US Open begins. Many are favoring Tiger to win that following his rally win at the Memorial.
