BURLEY, Idaho (AP) — A trial is again underway for a former Oakley teacher charged with sexually abusing a student. Prosecutors say 62-year-old Alvin Andrew had sexual contact with a 14-year-old in May 2007. A trial was set to begin in June, but Cassia County 5th District Judge Michael Crabtree declared a mistrial after a court reporter heard a jury commissioner make inappropriate comments to the jury. The Times-News (http://bit.ly/RtdSRv ) reports that jury selection began Tuesday and testimony was expected to start Wednesday. Prosecutors say the alleged victim told investigators Andrew kept her after school to abuse her in May 2007. He was a math and science teacher at Oakley High School at the time, and was granted a leave of absence later that year. He worked as a substitute teacher until April 2010
