Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Larger Jet aircraft is expected to arrive at the Magic Valley Regional Airport in Twin Falls June 5. Delta Connection, operated by SkyWest Airlines officials said the transition to the larger Jets will improve the commuter experience while also maintaining convenience for connecting Delta flights at the Salt Lake City International Airport.  As part of the transition, SkyWest will replace four 30-passenger EMB 120 Brasilia flights with two 50-passenger Bomardier CRJ200 flights. Although the transition will reduce the frequency of flights at the Magic Valley Regional Airport, it will replace smaller turbo-prop aircraft with larger, more comfortable jet service that will also reduce waiting time for connecting flights at the Salt Lake City International Airport. Each of the flights between Twin Falls and Salt Lake City will be timed to improve connections to flights in Salt Lake City, where passengers can easily connect to hundreds of daily flights to cities in the United States or around the world.
