Twin Falls is set to hold their annual fireworks display at the College of Southern Idaho on the 4th of July at 10pm. This year promises to be another amazing display that will last approximately 30 minutes but if you want a good seat, get there early. Here are some fireworks watching tips from the Twin Falls Police Department.

Arrive Early

Because of the large amount of vehicle and pedestrian traffic plan to arrive early. North College Road will be closed between 7 and 9 pm, and Police Officers will be closing portions of Falls Avenue and Washington Street North around dusk.

Be Patient

Thousands of people routinely attend the fireworks at CSI, and most of them drive. Because of this, drivers should expect delays and even detours as law enforcement directs people out of the shows.

Don't Drink and Drive

Before and after the CSI fireworks display local law enforcement will be patrolling heavily looking for impaired drivers. Drivers suspected of being under the influence will be promptly arrested.

Have A Happy Independence Day

Get there early, be patient, and remember to stay well hydrated. Drink lots of water as highs on the 4th are expected to be in the upper eighties or low nineties. Remember that fireworks are not allowed on the College of Southern Idaho campus, so leave yours at home for later.
