Last night the Twin Falls City Council voted to increase the spending cap for the proposed Twin Falls city budget by $380,000 dollars.  That puts the proposed budget right now at $46.2-million dollars.  However, the council members at the meeting last night said there’s probably no way the budget will end up there.  The $46.2-million is simply the highest that the budget can be set now, however the council can go lower and if last night’s discussion was any indication, it most certainly will wind up lower.  A public hearing to  give city residents a chance to give their opinion will be held on Monday, August 15th at 6 o’clock in the City Council chambers.
