TWIN FALLS, Id. ( KMVT/KSVT ) A Twin Falls County Deputy’s home was burglarized early Monday morning in southwest Twin Falls.

According to a news release issued by the sheriff’s office, the deputy discovered his garage door was standing open at 6:00 a.m. He said he last saw it closed just after midnight. A quick inventory discovered that a grey camo duffel bag containing his duty tactical gear and clothing had been taken. Specific items include a green helmet, black nylon gun belt, body armor and a tactical head set.

Also taken was a department Rock River M-4 rifle with 3 magazines in a blue plastic case. Officers with the Twin Falls City Police Department are investigating this burglary. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact the city dispatch at 735-4357 or 311.
