Workers at the Twin Falls Public Library have a formidable task ahead of them.  They have to move tens of thousands of items in order to make way for the new carpet…and they are asking for your help.  The Library is encouraging library card holders to check out the maximum of 50 items.  The more items they can check out and send to card holders homes, the fewer items they will have to move.  The re-carpeting project will begin tomorrow and will involve just over 30-thousand square feet, or about three-quarters of the total square footage of the library.  Before the re-carpeting can begin, library furniture, computers and other items must be moved.  For those who check out items the checkout period is being extended to six weeks.
