TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A Twin Falls man has failed to show up in court for his sentencing after pleading guilty to violating a no-contact order. The Time-News reports in a story on Thursday that 39-year-old Steven Ray Stone didn't show up in 5th District Court on Monday. Judge Randy Stoker issued an arrest warrant and set bond at $150,000. Stone was initially charged with kidnapping, raping and trying to strangle a woman in December. But he pleaded guilty in April to violating a no-contact order after the defense found surveillance video of the two holding hands and shopping during part of the time when the woman said the attack was happening. Prosecutors recommended probation in the plea agreement with a potential sentence of five years in prison if he failed probation.
