It will be life in prison for a Twin Falls man convicted of meth distribution.  34 year old Justin Izatt was convicted by a jury in December of possession with intent to distribute meth.  Due to his criminal history U.S. District Judge Edward Lodge sentenced Izatt yesterday  to life in prison without possibility of parole stating that he fell under the mandatory minimum requirement of three drug-related felonies in federal court.  A search of Izatt’s Twin Falls home found a stash of meth hidden in the ceiling of his garage.  Izatt also had an extensive criminal history going back to the early 90’s.  One incident involved a standoff with Twin Falls police after he held his girlfriend hostage.  For that incident Izatt was convicted of kidnapping.
