TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A Twin Falls man is charged with driving drunk and fleeing police with his 3-year-old son in the car. The Times-News reports 29-year-old Erik Torres-Rendon is charged with driving under the influence, eluding police and injury to a child. He was arraigned Monday in Twin Falls County Court, where his bail was set at $25,000. Police responded to a report that someone was spinning circles in the road shortly after midnight Saturday and the car sped away. Sheriff's Deputy Jerry Elliott said he tried to make a traffic stop, but the vehicle ran stop signs and traveled at speeds of up to 110 mph. The car eventually went off the road. A frightened boy in the car said his daddy had been driving and that he left. Torres-Rendon was arrested a short distance away.
