The Times News reports today that Jason Albertson is looking forward to collecting as much as $20,000 in reward money.  Albertson was in jail at the same time as Nicholas Sites who had been arrested during a traffic stop and was a target of an investigation into the robberies of U.S. Bank and First Federal Savings Bank branches in Twin Falls.  Albertson says he gave police information that Sites had given him while bragging about how he pulled off the two robberies. Police arrested Sites shortly after they talked to Albertson.   Albertson says he should have $20,000 coming as reward for giving information to police.  Each of the banks had offered a $10,000 reward for information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the heists.  Last week Sites  pled guilty to the bank robberies.  Albertson says he wants to use the money to give to charity and buy a new car so he can go back to school but he’s still waiting to see if the banks are going to pay.
