Twin Falls Police Involved in Brief Car Chase

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - A short car chase involving Twin Falls Police ends with a 18 year old arrested for Eluding Police. Twin Falls authorities say the incident happened around 4 am Wednesday. Austin Cooper had just been cited by police for failure to purchase a drivers license. Moments later, when police saw him driving, they attempted to stop him for the second time but instead of stopping, the teen attempted to flee.

Police say they begin the pursuit eastbound on Filer Avenue West, ending a short time later at 486 Ostrander Street North. The car came to rest on or near the homes front porch, according to police records. Cooper was arrested for Felony Eluding Police.
