TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) Twin Falls authorities say a man was beaten and abducted by three other men in the middle of the day Tuesday afternoon.

In a statement by Twin Fall Police, the Hispanic man, thought to be in his 50's, was on the 200 block of Main at around 2 p.m. when three white men, with shaved heads and facial hair, assaulted him and threw him into a white four-door sedan.

The victim told police he was forced to the floor of the car and driven out of the city on Pole Line Road to somewhere east of Rock Creek Canyon. The victim said he wasn't sure where he had been taken, but was able to jump out of the car somewhere in the canyon near the river.

The three men chased the victim and beat him with a baseball bat. Before leaving the man, the three others took his wallet and phone. Police say the man walked to a road where someone in a red Ford pickup gave him a ride to his son's home.

Police have asked the public if they have any information to call detectives or Crime Stoppers. They would also like to talk with the man who picked up the victim and gave him a ride. At the time, the victim was wearing a purple shirt and jeans. They also ask if anyone might have surveillance video of the kidnapping and assault. Twin Falls Police can be reached at 735-4357 or Crime Stoppers 732-5387.
