The Twin Falls Police Department is continuing its search for a male individual who robbed a grocery store in Twin Falls in early May, and they are urging anyone with information regarding the suspect or the robbery to contact the department.

At about 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 2, a male suspect entered the First Federal Savings Bank branch on Falls Avenue and Washington Street North wearing a green and yellow hat, grey colored wig, sun glasses and a brown hoodie style sweatshirt with an orange t-shirt underneath. He was described as being unshaven. Bank employees immediately asked that the man to remove his sun glasses, however, the individual refused and left the bank. He was last seen riding an orange and green colored mountain bike. It was not known the direction of travel. Witnesses described the suspect as being middle age man who was unshaven.

Then, at about 4:10 p.m., witnesses said they saw a man matching the description walk into the Albertsons grocery store located at 121 Addison Ave. in Twin Falls. The suspect passed a note to an employee at the customer service counter, which stated that he was armed and demanded money. The suspect then left the store in an unknown direction.

Because of the visibility of both incidents, it is likely that someone may have seen something that could assist with the investigation. Anyone with information regarding the robbery or anyone matching the suspect’s description is encouraged to call the Twin Falls Police Department’s tip line at 208-735-4357.
