Twin Falls Police are searching for an armed man who robbed the First Federal Savings Bank at 110 Falls Avenue Thursday afternoon. Police say the suspect, described as a white man with a thin build, robbed the bank around 12:30 p.m.   He displayed a handgun during the robbery and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Witnesses say they saw a blue van in the area at the time of the robbery. Police are not sure if the van is connected to the robbery, but are not ruling it out. There was a similar robbery in December at a Twin Falls U.S. Bank branch. Police believe the two robberies are connected. In the December robbery, the suspect is thought to have fled in a gray sedan. Authorities are asking for anyone who may have seen a gray sedan or a blue van in the area at the time of Thursday's robbery to call the Twin Falls Police Department at 208-735-4357.
