Twin Falls School Administrator Set to Retire

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) A local veteran in education is retiring this year after 41 years of service to the Twin Falls School District.

Ted Poppelwell started teaching 5th grade at Lincoln Elementary in 1974 working his way to assistant principal and principal throughout the years. Then wrapping up as the Director of Elementary Education for the district for the past nine years.

Poppelwell says he is excited for retirement, but is also excited for the future of the Twin Falls School District. Both of Poppelwell's parents worked in education and he has seen 3 generations of families move through the Twin Falls Schools.
