TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Emergency responders in south-central Idaho say a toddler who fell out of a moving vehicle at a busy Twin Falls intersection suffered cuts and bruises but avoided serious injury.

Twin Falls police say the child was hanging on a door that opened as a pickup made a turn on Tuesday.

A witness called 911 to say the toddler appeared to be unrestrained and fell onto the pavement in the intersection.

Medical responders say the child was conscious and breathing. The child was taken to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center.

The Times-News reports (http://bit.ly/1BydYbp) that no citations had been issued on Tuesday.

Police didn't release additional information.
