Twin Falls Vigil To Be Held For Fallen Soldiers

There will be a special candlelight vigil tonight at the National Guard Armory in Twin Falls for two guardsmen recently killed in Iraq.  The vigil will be held for 24 year old Spc. Nathan Beyers and 20 year old Spc. Nicholas Newby, both of Coeur d’Alene.  Both were part of a larger deployment of the Idaho contingent of guardsmen.  They were helping with security near Baghdad on July 7th when insurgents attacked their convoy.  The vigil is planned or 7 o’clock this evening at the armory at 1069 Frontier Road.
