TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- The rape case involving a Southern Idaho meteorologist has been pushed back to March, allowing more time to gather information and evidence.

John William Holland, also known as "Jack", a weatherman for KMVT TV news is facing a charge of rape after an encounter with a woman at his apartment on the 29th of January. Today Holland's defense attorney Charles Peterson asked during a preliminary hearing that it be postponed to a later date. Peterson said there was video evidence that referenced texts that he had just seen before the hearing.

Peterson wanted more time to view the material. He also wanted more time to allow written testimonies and medical documents be added to Holland's file. Magistrate Judge Thomas Kershaw agreed and postponed the hearing to early March. Read here for more on this story
