Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Boise Police have arrested a Twin Falls woman on drug and weapons charges.

Police were on patrol in the area of South Maple Grove Road and West Hackamore Drive in Boise on Friday, January 31, just after noon, when they spotted a vehicle with no front license plate. The driver, Lewis Lowery of Nampa was arrested for Misdemeanor charges of Driving without privileges, possession of marijuana and possession of drug Paraphernalia.

During the course of their investigation, the police found that Amanda B. Mecham 31 of Twin Falls had concealed a buck knife with a seven inch blade. Further investigation authorities found 1.5 grams of Methamphetamine, three straws with powder inside, a bent spoon and two hypodermic needles in her possession. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance, Meth, possession of a concealed weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
