BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Two Boise residents are charged with forcing more than a dozen women into prostitution. Police say 44-year-old Derrick Wallace Hicklen and 28-year-old Gypsie Akers were arrested Tuesday and arraigned Wednesday on charges of human trafficking, detention for prostitution and procurement.

Hicklen also is charged with rape and video voyeurism while Akers is also charged with receiving funds from procurement. Hicklen's bail was set at $1 million. Akers is jailed in lieu of $500,000 bail.

Boise police said they received a tip from Ada County investigators on Oct. 19 that a possible case of human trafficking and prostitution was taking place in Boise. Charging documents say the women were forced into prostitution and at times drugged and raped by Hicklen. Police believe there are other victims.
