Two Car Crash on I-84 Slows Traffic to One Lane Near Jerome

JEROME, Idaho (Press Release)-On Sunday, April 10, 2016, at approximately 3:45 p.m. Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 near milepost 183, in Jerome County.

Amber Bowers, 25, of Wendell, was driving a 2014 Kia Optima east on Interstate 84 at milepost 183 near the scene of a previous crash.  Bowers did not notice traffic slowing ahead of her and crashed into a 2015 Dodge Dart which was being driven by Andrea Harrison, 19, of Jerome.

Bowers vehicle went into the median and overturned.  Both drivers were wearing their seatbelt and neither was injured.

The left lane of eastbound Interstate 84 was blocked for a little over an hour while the crash was cleared.
