NAMPA, Idaho (AP) — Two women were killed in a fiery, one-vehicle crash on an Interstate 84 onramp near Nampa. The Idaho State Police says the women were northbound on Happy Valley Road at about just after 11 p.m. Tuesday when the driver lost control of the Chevy Corvette.

The car crossed an Interstate 84 onramp and rolled about 100 yards before catching fire on the barrier of the eastbound lanes of the interstate. Witnesses were able to pull one woman from the vehicle, but the other was trapped inside.

Canyon County Coroner Vicki DeGeus-Morris on Wednesday identified the victims as 24-year-old Lauren Desaree Lane of Nampa and 22-year-old Christa K. Anderson of Middleton. It is not known who was driving.
