HAZELTON, Idaho (KLIX)- Two men were taken to hospital after a single car crash in Eastern Jerome County.

According to Idaho State Police 22 year old Abraham Cervantes and 22 year old Ricardo Lopez of Jerome were not wearing seat belts when they crashed. Police say it happened just before 11pm Monday Night at Crestview Road and 990 South. Police say Cervantes was goind south of Crestview in a Dodge mini-van when he failed to negotiate a curve and left the road.

The mini-van ended up hitting a fence. Lopez, the passenger, was first taken to a Rupert hospital but later flown to University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City Utah. The crash is still under investigation.
