GOODING, Idaho (AP) — Two south-central Idaho men who police say slashed the throat of a Blackfoot man and left him for dead have each been charged with aggravated battery and first-degree kidnapping.

The Times-News reports that 30-year-old Ryan Eugene Cunningham of Wendell and 49-year-old Thomas Hooley of Twin Falls were charged Thursday in 5th District Court.

Police say Hooley used a stun gun on 31-year-old Jason Given of Blackfoot on July 13. Police say the men also ran a blade over Given's neck twice. Given in court documents says he played dead for about five or 10 minutes until the men left.

Cunningham in court on Thursday told Magistrate Judge Casey Robinson he doesn't know who Hooley is or where the allegations came from. Bail has been set at $1 million for both men.
