COEUR d’ALENE, Idaho (AP) —Two people were killed Monday night in a shooting near the intersection of N. 1st Street and Spokane Avenue in Coeur d’Alene.

Police said the shooting occurred at a home around 9:30 p.m.

A juvenile suspect was taken into custody, according to officers. The victims were not immediately identified.

Police were still investigating the shooting for motive late Monday night, but said it appeared the victims and suspect knew each other.  The nature of their relationship was unclear, however.

Officials removed the bodies from the scene early Tuesday morning.  Investigators said they planned to release more information regarding the case later in the day.
