Ramirez refused to stop and turned southbound onto Eastland Drive, according to the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, running multiple stop signs at excessive speeds as she and passenger Brooke Gee, 26, of Pocatello tried to flee from the pursuing deputy.

Ramirez took the chase south on Rock Creek Road and into the South Hills, according to the sheriff’s office, when the vehicle slid sideways off the icy road and landed high-centered in a snowbank, one mile south of the Third Fork Campground.

Afterward, both women refused commands to get out of the vehicle. Forty minutes later, and with assistance of a Kimberly City officer, both occupants were taken into custody without incident.

Ramirez is being held on charges of felony eluding and driving without privileges, while Gee is being held on the charge of obstructing.
