Two Year Old Burley Boy Stable After Running Into Traffic

Burley, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Friday afternoon, a two year old boy was struck in the intersection of Elba and Main Streets by a pickup after he darted into the intersection. 

The pickup was being driven by 60 year old Joya Pearson of Burley who was traveling westbound on Main.

The boy's mother lost sight of the child for just a moment when the accident occurred.

The child was flown by Life Flight to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City where he is in stable condition and will pull through.

No fault found by Mr. Pearson and no citations will be issued.
