WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) — A Utah man accused of running naked and biting a police K-9 is facing multiple charges. Court records show 27-year-old Erasmo Garcia-Serna faces a felony charge of injuring a police animal and three misdemeanors.

Garcia-Serna's attorney Catherine Kezar did not immediately return messages seeking comment Tuesday. West Valley City police say an officer found Garcia-Serna running naked and yelling in a Costco parking lot on Oct. 28. Police say Garcia-Serna flexed his muscles and fists "in a threatening manner" and approached the officer, who released his K-9.

Officers say Garcia-Serna started biting the animal on the neck and did not stop until he was stunned with a Taser three times. Court records don't indicate whether the animal or man were injured. Police did not immediately return messages Tuesday.
