MOSCOW - The Vandals have found the man they want to replace Robb Akey, and lead the football program into a future that includes some unchartered waters. A source close to the program confirmed to KREM 2 that Arkansas offensive coordinator Paul Petrino has accepted an offer to become Idaho's next head coach. Petrino's coaching career includes three seasons in Moscow, from 1992-1994, coaching receivers, running backs and special teams. His time on the sideline began as an assistant at his alma mater Carroll College.  This will be the Butte native's first head coaching job. He takes over a program that just wrapped up its final season in the WAC, and will play an independent schedule in 2013 and 2014. The school has announced a news conference to introduce their new head coach Monday at 1:30 p.m.
