(KLIX)- People will be able to witness a very rare a event Tuesday. The planet Venus will move across the sun this afternoon. The transit as it is called will be  seen in the Magic Valley beginning around 4pm. And will go to sundown. Chris Anderson with the Herrett Center Observatory says people can see it using special solar viewing sun glasses they are selling. They are made specially to view the sun, anything else is a bad idea.  Anderson says if people use the specially made sun glasses they will see a tiny dot move across the sun. Anderson says the best way is to view it through a telescope. The Herrett Center will have several telescopes available for the viewing this afternoon.
