The four members of a family killed in a plane crash near the Burley airport have been identified.  The Salt Lake City Tribune reports that Randy Whittle was taking off in his small plane with his family from Burley for a flight to Provo when the plane crashed Sunday afternoon.  Randy Whittle, his wife Vicki and his teenage children, MacLean and Brittany, died in the crash. The pilot’s brother says the family lives in California and was in Burley to visit Randy Whittle’s parents.  Both of whom were at the airport the time of the crash.  Dave Whittle says Randy Whittle had been piloting for about five years. The youngest passenger, Brittany Whittle, had planned to drive to Provo Utah with an aunt but decided at the last minute to join her brother and parents on the plane. The NTSB continues to investigate the accident.
