This is why you should pay attention when behind the wheel of a car. Woman goes through a Twin Falls gas station hitting a car injuring a woman and knocking over a gas pump. On June 14, 2014 according to police the woman was adjusting her groceries while pulling out of the parking lot onto the street when her door flew open. She panicked and hit the accelerator instead of the brake. The woman thrown to the ground was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No one else was hurt. The driver of the car was sighted with inattentive driving. Police ask drivers to focus on driving when behind the wheel. Video provided by Twin Falls Police Department

ORIGINAL STORY June 14th, 2014:

TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) One person had to be transported to the hospital after a car crash at Smith’s Gas Station on Addison Avenue East.

The Twin Falls Police Department and Twin Falls Fire Department were dispatched to the scene at 5:52 p.m. Sergeant Justin Dimond tells us a silver Saturn drove through two gas pumps and hit another vehicle, which then crashed into a pump.

The pump tipped over, landing on a person filling up their vehicle. That person was taken by ambulance to St. Luke’s Magic Valley. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
