Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Students, family, friends and community members gathered at Canyon Ridge Thursday for a vigil in memory of Brianna Cox.

Cox was a student at Canyon Ridge High School. She was killed last weekend in what police are investigating as a double murder suicide. Thursday people gathered for a moment of silence in what school officials are calling a part of the healing process.

A process they have been dealing with all week. "We got through Monday, and then Tuesday we were able to have an advisory assembly for her. We had a nice PowerPoint and words spoken from the senior class. So it was a real honor to remember her and I think it brought some healing to the school,” said CRHS Principle Kasey Teske. Cox was 17-years-old at the time of her death.
