State police say alcohol is believed to be a factor in a crash that injured three people near Jerome yesterday afternoon. That accident happened on Interstate 84 around  2:40 p.m. in Jerome County.  44 year old Pamela K. Hawley of Lawrence, Kansas, was traveling eastbound on I-84 around mile marker 168 in a 1992 Subaru Loyale when she lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle left the roadway and traveled through a fence before crashing into the Southern Idaho RV and Marine dealership on Bob Barton Road. Hawley was taken by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center. Hawley's passenger, 60 year old Nathaniel Adams of Ocala, Florida, was treated and released for his injuries at the scene. Hawley's second passenger,  39 year old Heath Crooks  of Lawrence, Kansas, sustained a serious injury to his arm and was taken by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. None of the occupants in the vehicle were wearing a seatbelt.
