What Was That Huge Fire In Southwest Twin Falls?

Today, when I went out for lunch, I noticed that there was smoke coming from near the Sugar Beet Factory and I was going to check it out, but then I looked to the west and saw smoke billowing from by the Speedway, so I went to check that one out instead.

Luckily, the fire was just a farmer burning his field. But it served as a good reminder that this is the season for field burning and you may be surprised to see smoke in the air and experience some added breathing problems.

Also, it made for a really cool video when I drove through the smoke!

PS - don't drive through the smoke. You can't see very well and your vents may let smoke into your car.
