Who Was Jessie Bisbee?

(KLIX)-Ever wondered about the woman behind the men of history. for example most people in the magic valley may have heard of Clarence Bisbee. The famous photographer who captured stills of the Magic Valley in its early development and he was a major contributor to the growth of the area early on. Well, who was Jessie Bisbee? MaredaWright is a historian with the Twin Falls Public Library. She says Jessie really influenced her husbands work, and played a big part of the Magic Valley's development. But, Wright says there is little known about the many women who helped build the valley. On Wednesday Wright will host a presentation on Jessie Bisbee and her influence on the Magic Valley. It starts at 2pm at the Twin Falls Public Library.
