BOISE (KTVB) -- The Vallejo Fire, which burned in 400 acres south of town Wednesday, has been contained, according to Boise Fire officials.

Investigators determined the blaze was started by a lightning strike.

It was 100 percent contained Thursday morning.

The fire's close proximity to homes alarmed residents, but only one house was evacuated.

Crews from the Bureau of Land Management, Boise Fire Department, Kuna Fire Department, and Meridian Fire Department teamed up to get the fire under control
