Woman Charged For Illegal Abortion

A Pocatello woman who allegedly performed an unlawful abortion on her fetus has now been officially charged with the crime. KPVI TV reports that 32 year old Jennie Linn McCormack now faces a felony charge related to the illegal abortion.  According to the Pocatello Police Department, McCormack aborted the fetus on December 24th of last year.  A short time later her fetus was discovered in a box and sent to the coroner's office for examination. Last week McCormack received a felony summons related to the case and police say she has signed that summons.  The 32-year-old is set to be arraigned of her charges on June 10th.
