ELMORE COUNTY, (KTVB) - A crash killed a woman Saturday night on Interstate 84 near Mountain Home. The Elmore County Sheriff's Office said the woman was driving from Twin Falls to Boise when she lost control of her vehicle at around 9 p.m. near milepost 103 - eight miles east of Mountain Home. The vehicle entered the median, rolled about five times, traveled 187 feet and landed on its top.

The woman was trapped in the vehicle and suffered severe head trauma, the sheriff's office said. The woman, who was the vehicle's only occupant, died at the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

The sheriff's office said drugs or alcohol are not believed to have contributed to the crash. The woman's name hasn't been released. The sheriff's office said she recently moved to Boise from Oregon.
