Friends from around the country are amazed how many old cars are still roadworthy here.  We’re not just talking about show cars.

It’s about the only thing Idaho and Cuba have in common.

Actual cars people still drive every day.  It’s about the only thing Idaho and Cuba have in common.  People here are resilient, but it’s also proof that salt on roads is a nasty combination with metal.  Back east carts don’t last long.  I saw the old Geo Metro and was astounded it was still working.  Clearly someone has some skill with bailing twine and chewing gum.

The old Buick Skylark is among the nicest cars I’ve recently seen locally.  Men, would you trade your wife or girlfriend for a drive?  Don’t rush an answer.  The Buick looks like fun and it would never demand you take it shopping.
