It may soon be legal for motorists in Twin Falls to make a U-turn at a light-controlled intersection.  Such turns are not allowed at most intersections in town with the exception of a couple of intersections on Pole Line Road.  The Twin Falls Traffic Safety Commission voted 6 to 0 yesterday to recommend a repeal of the current city code and instead replace it with state code.  State code allows U-turns at light controlled intersections if they do not interfere with oncoming traffic and a few other exceptions. Police say the state code has been working just fine.   The recommendation from the commission will be sent to the city attorney to be written up as a new ordinance and then presented to the City Council for a vote.
