TWIN FALLS, Id ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) A young moose that made its way into Twin Falls has been placed in a new habitat. The Twin Falls Police Department responded to a call that a moose had wandered into the Twin Falls Cemetery.

After some time, Idaho Fish and Game was able to sedate the moose without incident. This is the second time this cow has been removed from the area, and is now headed up north to Fish Creek. "It was an amazing job, it was text book, you couldn't have asked for a better situation and a better outcome. She was tranquilized probably less than five minutes, loaded in the truck and now she is up and on her way to a new area,” said Kelton Hatch with the Idaho Fish and Game.

Officials with the Idaho Fish and Game would like to remind people that wild animals can be very dangerous. If you come across a wild animal in the city it is best to keep your distance and contact the police.
