With prices going up for gas and food, you might have to add your power bill to that list.   Idaho Power Company has filed a request with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission asking for a 9.9 percent increase in the base rate.  That will mean about $83-million dollars for Idaho Power.  Idaho Power residents recently noticed a decrease on the power bill thanks to the annual Power Cost Adjustment.  The most recent request for a rate increase may result in the average residential bill going up just under 9 percent.  The increase is subject to the approval of the IPUC.
