Thirteen Twin Falls City Council hopefuls will have three minutes tonight to convince the City Council members that they should be the one chosen to fill a vacant seat on the council.  Last week Twin Falls City Councilman Lance Clow announced he would be stepping down from the council after a nearly 19 year stint to pursue other endeavors.  Mayor Greg Lanting announced at the time that anyone interested in filling Clow’s seat on the council should submit a resume and letter of interest by 5 p.m. April 30thThe thirteen who submitted their names are :Erik Anderson, Jordan Beard, Wayne Bohrn, Neil Christensen,  Ronald Freeman, Gary Garnand, Douglas Guyman, Suzanne Hawkins, Christine Hernandez, Nathan Jerke, former City Councilman Will Kezele, Christopher Reid and Allan Starley.  The public is invited to the meeting at 7 o’clock this evening at the city council chambers to hear each give their three-minute appeal.  A selection committee comprising of Mayor Lanting and Councilmen Jim Munn and Vice Mayor Don Hall will then make their selections and interview the ones remaining before a final decision is made by the full council.
