Born and raised in San Diego, California I got married WAY young and we immediately started overpopulating the planet with four beautiful girls and one son. That was a different time and place. I’m a single father now giving all my love and energy to those five kids. I played radio gypsy for awhile doing shows in Yakima, WA… Fayetteville, AR… Salt Lake City… and finally good ole Boise, Idaho. I’m often gone on the weekends road tripping to Salt Lake and back to see my kids. Most of them are grown now but we’re closer than ever. Boise is Da Bomb! Did I say that right? I’ll have to ask my kids. I love The River, The Greenbelt, Bronco Nation, Gorgeous Scenery, and that big city feel in a city that’s not so big. I know, I know… we’re getting a whole lot bigger and it’s because of all the Californians coming right? And YES, I’m from Cali but once you move two or three hundred times that rule doesn’t apply anymore right? I got a lot of love for my morning partner and dear friend Carly Cash. I get to be immature and goofy every day, play the best music on the planet, give away Off-Da-Hook prizes (I’ll check with my kids on that one too), and sometimes, when I’m lucky, I get to make a REAL difference in a community that has welcomed me in and showed me nothing but love. Thank you! - Rick
