Over 60 fire fighters worked on the scene of the incident from the Unified Fire Department.
“The fire-damaged property is fenced and off-limits, and the adjacent sidewalk is closed. Pedestrians should use an alternate route through the area,” a press release from Herriman City states. “The long-term status of the multi-tenant commercial building is still being evaluated. Herriman City’s water pump facility, attached to the structure, has been inspected; the equipment is undamaged and the water supply is safe.”
Additionally, cleanup crews have been working on the scene since the incident happened. More footage from the explosion has become available online.
