Idaho Fish & Game recently reminded Idaho residents about a dangerous predator awakening from its slumber and that if we're not careful, we could be its next meal.
"Spring is a critical time for bears as they emerge from hibernation and search for food," Idaho Fish & Game said in a social media post.
"Natural food sources can be scarce early in the season, making unsecured garbage, pet food, bird feeders, and other human-related attractants a significant temptation."
Thankfully, there are some things we can do to protect our homes, our pets, and of course, ourselves.
