This Awkward Idaho Bike Crash is Making The Rounds on TikTok
Viral moments in Idaho? There seem to be more and more these days. Is Idaho getting crazier or are we just subject to the reality that cameras are everywhere these days?
Some moments, like a recent Idaho car crash that involved meth and a storm drain, will rake in millions of views. Other moments just go viral on the 'Idaho internet' and become things that everyone in town is talking about.
A recent bicycle crash in downtown Boise is tapping into the latter.
Just a couple of weekends ago, Downtown Boise turned into a literal high speed race track. The 39th annual Twilight Criterium brought hundreds of bicyclists from all across the country to Boise, where fast-paced street racings was to take place.
Known as one of the fastest courses in the country, these bikes are cruising at over 30 miles per hour, according to event organizers.
One moment from the race now has over 25,000 views and counting. It has Boise wondering...is Joe ok?
In the video, you can see cyclists clearing a high speed corner in the heart of downtown Boise. One fan is yelling, very loudly, 'GO JOE!' -- it seemed that Joe was doing good?
Then....CRASH.
Joe goes right into a barrier and concern ensues. What was once fun video turns pretty...awkward.
You can see the video, and cheer on Joe for yourself, BELOW:
